GARLEN INDUSTRIAL SHOWROOM
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This office and showroom for a furniture company transformed a former industrial space into a landmark interior that fused brutalist industrial elements with contemporary design solutions.
The project, executed in 2003, embodied bold ideas in spatial planning and furniture design. Interior elements and furnishings were created in-house by the company’s own production team, based on the author’s sketches. Exposed structural details, metal frameworks, and robust materials were softened by innovative layouts and modern finishes, resulting in a dynamic dialogue between past industry and modern creativity.
Recognized as one of the most prominent custom furniture showrooms of its time, the space served both as a workplace and a stage for demonstrating the company’s design philosophy—functionality, innovation, and authenticity.
